Plan Ahead For Honeymoon Travel

by The Diva

All the details of the honeymoon require one’s attention just as the wedding party does. Here are some tips to consider for a perfect honeymoon travel regardless of whether you choose the car, the train, the plane or the boat as a means of transportation.

Make reservations in advance and book tickets at hotels in case you make halts on the way to the destination. Thanks to good planning you’ll benefit from great rebates; airlines usually sell all classes of seats at the best prices, but as you get closer to the departure date, only the business class seats are still available.

Moreover, travel agencies have special packages for honeymooners, with various options included. Hence, when you approach an agency for offers and quotes make sure you specify that you are looking for a honeymoon travel solution. Sometimes people choose the all inclusive variant and leave it to the agency to deal with everything from then flight details to the lodging, while other couples take a more active approach to holiday planning.

Smart packing is another honeymoon travel tip some people fail to follow particularly when going to areas with warmer climates. This is not about taking sweaters and jackets when going to Hawaii, but rather about choosing to have some extra apparel items available for more special occasions, as you may want to wear something other than very casual beach clothes. Make sure to include some extra bottles of water, a few snacks and all the essentials in the luggage too. By essentials I mean the passports, the credit cards, a list of useful phone numbers and so on.

Enhance the atmosphere of the honeymoon travel by means of some carefully selected personal items . Take some music with you, preferably something to suit a romantic setting. Then, keep in mind that hotels provide all sorts of services on request, therefore, if you want to pamper yourself, the honeymoon could be the right time to start.

experience the authenticity of every location to really make the best of your honeymoon travel: try new drinks, food and music, get familiar with local cultures, talk to the people, see relevant local sites and points of attractions. Should there be any incidents, try not to be exaggerate, keep everything under control and focus on the memorable parts of your honeymoon.

What To Expect After Menopause

by The Diva

Many women going through menopause secretly hope that their uncomfortable symptoms will end when their menopause officially does, but unfortunately that isn’t necessarily the case. Even if those years of dealing with heat flashes and mood swings have finally finished, you may still have some unwanted post menopause symptoms to deal with.

The close of menopause is the end of ovulation and menstruation, and it usually finishes about 8 to ten years of the onset of symptoms. Nonetheless,Even so, you can still continue to have post menopause bleeding up to 6 months or so afterwards. Periods after menopause aren’t common, and there’s an increased likelihood you’ll experience them if you are on hormone therapy or if you are significantly overweight. If you do experience bleeding after menopause, make sure you have a check-up with your doctor because it may be a symptom of a serious disease such as endometrial cancer.

Health Issues To Watch For

Post menopause bleeding is not the only symptom to watch out for. Other bothersome post-menopause symptoms is vaginal itching and dryness, which is both irritating and potentially embarrassing.  However, the most distressing of all possible symptoms is stress incontinence, which is the involuntary trickling of urine because there is extra stress on your bladder, caused by a weakness in the pelvic floor muscles.

Other post menopause symptoms include the increased likelihood of conditions such as hypertension and osteoporosis. You may also start to notice more lines and wrinkles on your face. Post menopause symptoms are not fun, but they are something that every woman has to deal with at some point. Luckily medications are available to mitigate many of the symptoms you may experience. This can include face creams, lubricants, prescription medications and panty liners which can improve the experience of life after menopause.

It’s good to remember that not all women experience post menopause symptoms. And of those that do, most are not serious. As well as the many regular medications that can help with them, there is a great selection of vitamins and supplements that can be surprisingly powerful.

How To Reduce Cellulite With Good Old Exercise

by The Diva

Some women believe that their cellulite problems start with weight problems. This is partly true. You should be working out everyday to help with the condition. For this article we will focus on exercise to reduce cellulite. But do keep in mind that there is more to this cellulite thing then just staying fit.

The most important place for you to start is with some good cardio exercises. Cardio exercises are great because they are the types of exercises that can be done for a large amount of time. This means things like jogging, bicycling, treadmills, and so forth are the ideal place to start. These are all exercises that you can perform for a half hour or even longer. The idea is to work up a sweat and to get your legs circulating.

If you really hate the idea of cardio then you may want to look into taking some yoga classes. Yoga gets you stretching your body and does take up a large amount of time. Yoga is also very relaxing and great for reducing stress.

Allot of women have had success doing leg curls. These exercises will work either standing or lying down. I recommend that you try both of them out. For the standing ones you use a weight and simply curl upwards. Get a trainer at your gym to show you how to do it properly. You only do one leg at a time. After your done with the standing ones you should move to a lying down position. For the lying down curls you will do both legs at the same time. You may want to have more weight for the lying down ones.

Finally, you should try doing an exercise called lunges. These exercises will help you work the butt area. There are many different ways of going about doing these. It would be a good idea to have your trainer show you a few different ways that you can try. Find one exercise that you like and works for you.

These exercuses should at least give you a good starting place. Make sure that whatever you are doing that you are working on a thigh cellulite exercise and then go from there. Working the thighs first is the most important.

Hair Loss in Women: A Devastating Experience

by The Diva

Author: Fernanda B.Sc, Pharm, M.H

A short time ago I went through this emotionally devastating experience where I started to lose my hair. To some this might sound and vain, although any women who has gone through a large degree of hair loss can relate to the grieving.

I’ve always had dark brown colored thick curly hair with a significant amount of body – I always thought too much body.  Hair Stylists always spoke highly about my hair. Secretly I wanted the hair I didn’t have which is silky manageable blond hair. However, when I looked about and saw chunks of my hair on the floor, instead of being attached to my head, I definitely appreciated what I was losing.  At the time, wherever I went, I dropped a trail of hair in my path. When I washed and combed my hair large bunches of hair would drop out. When I brushed my hair, after a minimal amount of strokes, the brush would literally disappear in all the hair on it. I felt so helpless that I sobbed all the time. When I pulled my hair up into an elastic and its thickness was a fraction of what it used to be I then figured out I had to take some drastic measures.

My first step was to consult with my Doctor, There are many medical maladies that cause hair loss such as Cushings, hypothyroidism, diabetes and polycystic ovaries, etc. I agreed to an assortment of tests and they all came back negative.  Although I was pleased to know I was in perfect health, it did nothing to settle my nervousness about the hair loss.  Now I was sure I had befallen the curse of baldness which runs all through my Father’s family.  This delivered me into a heavier depression.

My next move was to search the internet looking for information.  The internet was crammed with all kinds of miracle advice for hair loss and baldness. I was frightened at how single-minded I felt to try something, anything, that would prevent this hair loss. Particularly interesting were all of those hair transplant clinics offering a solid head of hair. But none of these ads discussed an explanation.  Why was my hair falling out so dramatically?

I did find a rational solution. By way of the internet I found a medical clinic with a dermatologist who has special knowledge of hair conditions. I contacted the clinic and was advised I had to have a referral from my doctor with results of tests to disclaim other medical problems. Once I contacted my doctor and the outcome of the tests were forwarded we booked an appointment. I saw the specialist and he did a in-depth check of my head and my medical history. After discussing my medical history with me for 30 minutes he knew the cause of my hair loss. I don’t bring to mind his name but he will forever be “GOLDENDOC”

Previously that year I had suffered with pneumonia which was very challenging to my body.  Mother Nature being what she is, determined my body required all the nourishment possible and nourishing my hair was not on her agenda.  “GOLDENDOC” in his infinite wisdom told me that the deterioration of my beloved locks of hair would be short-lived. True to his word my hair ceased falling out after a further five or six weeks.

Then I travelled through the opposite experience. No hair fallout at all, not even the usual loss of 100-200 hairs daily.  This lasted for six months or so.  Now I am happy to have all my hair back, and I sure value it.

If any lady is experiencing hair loss, please experiment with what I did. See your physician and request the required tests done to eliminate underlying medical conditions.  If these turn out negative, find a dermatologist who is professionally known for work with hair loss.  He/she will give information and solutions that allow you to make a better choice.  Look for my next blog Hair loss in women; Sensible Information.

Natural Cures For Cellulite

by The Diva

It is generally thought that there are no cellulite cures or remedies. But you are about to find out that is wrong. In this article we will take a look at some natural treatments for cellulite that actually do work.

The first remedy I have for you is good old sweating. Moving around circulates the skin, thus improving your cellulite. A simple jog might do you allot of good. If you don't like jogging then try out yoga.

Coffee is practically a miracle cure for women who have cellulite. To make this work you will have to mix coffee grounds with olive oil. To use this mix you will need to spread it over any areas you have cellulite. This works so well that many anti-cellulite products that are on the market contain these ingredients.

Another very common remedy for cellulite is to detox your body. In order to detox your body you need to clean out all the waste found inside your body. You may need to clean out your bowels and even a liver flush may be needed. To maintain this you will need to eat healthy. The ideal diet is one that is made up of 60 to 70 percent vegetables and fruits. I would also recommend that you cut out lots of red meat and sugar.

One of the less common natural cures is to drink a glass of water with squeezed lemon juice. Also add in some cayenne. For the best results you should drink 3 glasses of this per day. This is one of those natural remedies that really catches you off guard with how effective it can be.

There are many products on the market that claim to cure cellulite naturally. Before you buy any of these products make sure that you find out what ingredients it contains. Make certain that you search online for the ingredients that are in any products. There are many products that can do more harm to your skin then anything else. If you can try to see if they will give you a sample and try it on a small spot first.

There are many other natural remedies for cellulite on the market. Some of them may work, but many of them will not. However, the vast majority of natural cures have less side effects then the products you would find on the shelves of your local health stores. If your never sure on anything make sure that you go ask your doctor.
